If your vehicle is over 4.5 tonne, you are required to obtain a Heavy Vehicle Certificate of Inspection (COI), by an accredited Examiner.

According to Queensland Transport regulations, Truck and Heavy Vehicle owners must obtain a Certificate of Inspection (COI) to ensure the safety of the vehicle.

The windscreen or windows are commonly the best places to display a safety certificate. If a safety certificate is not visible from the first day of sale, owners can be fined $550.
