Our caravan examiners are insured, licensed and experienced who understand your adventurous nature and have the know-how to ascertain any potential issues before you hit the road.
In the case of Caravan Post Check Repairs for Safety Certificates, in the event that you’re selling your camper, customers have fourteen days to address any problems and book a re-inspection for their caravan.
- If the Caravan is under 750kg (ATM), you are not required to obtain a Caravan Safety Certificate / Roadworthy Certificate for the transferring of registration; and
- If the Caravan has a gas supplied, an additional Gas Certificate is required.
- Queensland Safety Certificates / Roadworthy Certificates can only be issued by examiners who have been accredited by the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads.
- For private caravan sellers, Safety Certificates / Roadworthy Certificates are valid for two months or 2,000 kilometres (whichever occurs first). For dealers, the time frame is 1,000 kilometres or 3 months.
